Ticket prices vary according to the size of your car. Be sure not to
miss out on the marvelous, panoramic view of Venice during the ferry
boat ride, from the Zattere to Piazza S. Marco…..
Once on
Lido, follow the signs for Alberoni. From there it is a ten minute

By train: In front of you upon exiting the Santa Lucia train
station is a public water taxi launching platform for line 51 of the
ACTV, the fastest and most practical way to get to Lido di Venezia.
The ticket costs 6,000 lira, the trip takes slightly less than an
half-hour, and a boat leaves every 20 minutes (see below for times
in detail). If you have time, however, and wish to enter Venice
from the main port, you can take line 1 (the famous vaporetto!). The
trip takes almost an hour, but takes you along the entire length of
the celebrated Canal Grande… Other lines to Lido are the 82
(like the vaporetto, but a bit faster) and the 52 (like the 51, but
a bit slower). At night, on the other hand, links to Lido are
possible via line N (Nighttime), which departs from San Zaccaria
(close to San Marco). All public water taxis cost 6,000 lira.
If you prefer to avoid public transport, there is a private
water taxi service that connects the train station with Lido and
costs around 100,000 lira. After getting off at the Lido stop
(S.M. Elisabetta) you can reach our Villa by taxi or bus ACTV B
(direction Alberoni; departure every 10 minutes; ticket price L.
1,500).
Line 51 times (Train Station – Lido):
05.14
/ 05.34 / 05.54 / 06.04 / 06.24 06.44 (after which on the minutes 04
/ 24 e 44 of every our until 23.44) 00.14.
By plane: Having
arrived at the Marco Polo airport (in Tessera, about 12 kilometers
outside Venice) you can reach Lido directly by water with a
motorboat (recommended) or by land (head for Piazzale Roma to take
public transport for Lido).
By water: The “ALILAGUNA”
motorboat service travels from the airport to Lido di Venezia in
slightly under an hour (52 min.) following an captivating itinerary
through the Laguna Nord (passing also by Murano Island). The ticket
costs L. 8,500 and can be purchased directly on board the boat.
Departure times from the airport: 06.15 / 07.15 / 08.10 / 09.10 /
10.10 / 11.10 / 12.10 / 13.10 / 14.10 / 15.10 / 16.10 / 17.10 /
18.10 / 19.10 / 20.10 / 21.10 / 22.10 / 23.10 / 00.20.
Alternatively there is another private, extremely fast water
taxi service from the airport to Lido di Venezia which costs L.
130,000.
By land: A well-connected bus service runs from
the airport to Venezia (Piazzale Roma). The tickets costs 1,500
lira. A taxi on the other hand will take you to Venezia
(Piazzale Roma) for about L. 25,000. Once at Piazzale Roma you
can reach Lido with the same public transportation described above
in the “By train” section (which other than stopping at the train
station, also stops at Piazzale Roma). Therefore your options
are lines 51, 1, 52 and 82. You can also take line 61 (which does
not stop at the train station but leaves directly from Piazzale
Roma).
Once on Lido, as mentioned before, you can reach the
Villa with a private taxi or with the ACTV bus B (direction:
Alberoni, departure every 10 minutes, ticket price L. 1,500).
